It’s that time of year again - the 26th annual tomato festival will be held in Pittston next week, from Thursday, August 20th through Sunday, August 23rd. The event includes huge amounts of food, a parade, live entertainment, and yes - a tomato fight.
The big Tomato Fight will be held on Saturday at 1:30 pm in the parking lot of Cooper’s of Pittston. Full details can be found at the website below, but basically for $5, the first 100 people to register can chuck tomatoes at each other - definitely a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
